Herman Goering, when he was in prison after WWII told this joke:
"What is the difference between an German and an Englishman?"
A German is soft in the heart and hard in the head, an Englishman is hard in the heart and soft in the head."
On September 24, 2008, the UK supermarket chain Tesco pulled all White Rabbit Creamy Candy from their shelves "as a precaution" in response to the melamine-contamination reports.[9] The Hong Kong Centre for Food Safety issued an advisory on the product after it tested positive for melamine in their laboratories, with more than six times the legal limit for the chemical.[10][11] Australia issued a recall.[11] The Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore issued a similar advisory, [12] while also noting that although the level of melamine was high in the candy, it did not pose the same sort of danger that the contaminated infant formula did.[13] New Zealand had their product tested and although it did contain melamine, as there had been no harm done yet they were unable to recall the product. Two reporters, using the Singapore test results, calculated that "a 60kg adult [...] would have to eat more than 47 White Rabbit sweets [...] every day over a lifetime to exceed the tolerable threshold" for melamine.[13] In September 2008, the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection warned consumers not to eat "White Rabbit Creamy Candy" because tests by the Connecticut Agriculture Experiment Station Laboratory determined that it contains melamine.[14] Similar tests in South Africa also yielded positive results for the molecule.

The piano, a common keyboard instrument

A keyboard instrument is any musical instrument played using a musical keyboard. The most common of these is the piano. Other widely used keyboard instruments include various types of organs as well as other mechanical, electromechanical and electronic instruments. In common language, it is mostly used to refer to keyboard-style synthesizers.

Among the earliest keyboard instruments are the pipe organ, hurdy gurdy, clavichord, and harpsichord. The organ is doubtless the oldest of these, appearing in the 3rd century BC, although this early instrument--called hydraulis--did not use a keyboard in the modern sense. From its invention until the 14th century, the organ remained the only keyboard instrument. Often, the organ did not feature a keyboard at all, rather buttons or large levers which were operated by a whole hand. Almost every keyboard until the 15th century had 7 naturals to each octave.

Yale Lock

Yale's lock used a flat key with serrated edges like the ones we still use today. When inserted into the lock, the key pushes the bottom pins into the right position, which allows the user to turn the key and unlock the lock. The cylinder lock perfected by Yale is based on a mechanism first employed by the ancient Egyptians over 4000 years ago.
